DysTopiaN BeaTz! Is the name i worked under when producing a Home Made track influenced primarily by my Vinyl (12') collection, Dj Mix' & events attended. This is to highlight why under the 1 name there is Home Produced Music, Vinyl & Dj Mix' to listen to & enjoy via this site.

DysTopiaN BeaTz! The tracks (Mix') on this site were either produced, purchased or downloaded at a time when i was studying Audio Engineering, purchasing Vinyl, Dj'ing, Raving, Clubing & having a great time with my friends going out to simply staying in and enjoying listening to music in any way possible.

Home Made - All of the music under DysTopiaN BeaTz! Home Made by myself was built using computers & technology rangeing from the Atari-ST with Akai / EMU Samplers to Mac's running various Software such as Logic Pro / XS for example. This Software has progressed hugely over time later coming with it's own built in Samplers, Samples, Sounds & FX making the production of tracks today a lot more 'simple' so to speak,  than before. The tracks were of course mainly influenced by my taste in Music at that time & these influences came from the vinyl i collected as a young man growing up, music that i have played to myself endlessly, enjoyed & been out listening to, to music selected & played to me by the Dj (Mix' downloaded, events attended etc).

My Vinyl MP3' - this is exactly as it sounds but with a Vinyl collection of over 2,000 + tracks to be enjoyed these tracks need to be selected, played in real time, recorded & converted into MP3. This is incredibally satisfying & fun but also very time consuming & hard to complete. However, with the advent of progressing technology this today is a lot easier than it was 10/15 years ago which is why i have been able to create a digital My Vinyl MP3 collection recorded with the lovely sound of the Vinyl played & recorded as it sounded when playing direct to the speaker. 

Dj Mix' - This is exactly as it says with the Mix' downloaded at a time when all music was in MP3 format with download speeds provided making it a far greater challenge than today obviously. However, this meant your selection of Mix' would be rarer & less heard by the average listener (friend) due to not everybody having the patience or desire to find & download them themselves. Making them even more enjoyable. 

SoFaSounDz! is the parent of DysTopianBeaTz! & all the other various alternatives covering everything from my converted Vinyl to downloaded MP3's, Home Made AiFF files to the wonders of tracks sought after, streamed and put into long entertaining playlists covering all i can find and enjoy that has been put together based on memories, emotions, moods, wants & desires over the many, many years that have gone by. Wonderful!!!
